WHY DO WE EXIST?
It can be a scary and challenging thing…
To put aside the “good” opinion of others and do what you love anyway. Once you have made this decision however, you will need help from others as you move through this new “purpose-filled” life.
Pixel Me Pink specifically exists to provide web design and graphic design solutions for passionate and purpose driven small service-based business owners and entrepreneurs who are looking for assistance at becoming more effective, more well-known and more successful at what they do.
PIXEL ME PINK’S BEGINNING…
Our beginning was, well…let’s just say it was “rough”.
On January 1st 2010, Audrey was just coming home from her new waitress job. She was so close to graduating college with her associates in web and graphic design, but by now she was completely exhausted with doing anything other than her true heart’s desire. Shane still didn’t have a new job by this point and when Audrey walked through the door, this normally smiling/sun-shiny person looked like her soul had been taken from her.
A lot of stress and high emotion had been experienced in the last year with everything that was going on. Besides the fact that their whole world was crumbling around them, they were miserable because they weren’t living anything close to the life they wanted.
As Audrey was sharing the story of her day being a waitress in a restaurant on the Las Vegas strip on New Year’s day (if you can even imagine), Shane interrupted her out of nowhere and said, “quit your job right now”. Both being military brats, they were always taught to be “responsible” and to “find a new job before you quit the one you have now”, so for both of them, this idea was very hard to stomach. Regardless, they had “had it”. Enough was enough. They were so tired of doing things the “right way”, of being miserable, and decided to take the dream they had talked about called “Pixel Me Pink” and make it a full-time reality.
Home computers in hand and hardly any experience to speak of, Shane and Audrey stepped boldly into the Web and Graphic design industry. They finally started living the life they always dreamed of and their business was an immediate success.
So in short, going through all of the hardship was the best thing that ever happened to them but the most important part is this: If you feel or have felt the same in your life, that it took a lot of courage to be the “real you”, we totally get it.
We have a personal passion to help others like us step into their true selves and become prosperous at whatever it is that makes them tick. We genuinely look forward to helping you.
