Through the Swift Action Initiative, Pixel Me Pink will donate 5% of this proposal in your company’s name to the Feeding Families & Growing Good program.
100% of proceeds will be divided into thirds and equally fund the three main program objectives:
- For families qualifying for the federal school lunch program, the Feeding Families & Growing Good program will pay for the meals of hungry parents bringing their children to the Austin area Free Summer Meal sites so that families may eat together and reap the benefit of sharing family meals. Parent meals cost approximately $2.65 per meal and daily participation is usually around 20 parents. Currently, the children of these low-income families are allowed to eat for free through this federal program, but the parents may not. With help from you, now they can.
- Install organic box gardens at these Free Summer Meal sites and assist Community Center staff in integrating healthy eating & lifestyle curriculum into their program. Organic gardens range from $44-$120 depending on types of vegetables and size of planters.
- Provide direct mentoring services regarding healthy lifestyles and entrepreneurial business development through funding memberships for select community members (the parents) into the local Gardenuity Club team. Team memberships are $199 and include a starter organic gardening system, weekly business skills training sessions, and personal one on one mentoring.
Practicing conscious commerce is a community effort and by doing business with Pixel Me Pink your company is actively demonstrating socially conscious behavior.
As such, you and your business will be recognized by name and receive logo placement as a program participant and be included in multiple forms of program specific public relations outreach, content creation including a custom video recognizing your company, placement on multiple program specific websites and honorable mention within all social media properties.
